We serve the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), US Joint Forces Command, and The Army effort by supporting the programs and services of the national AUSA organization, and by implementing programs locally as well. The 30th Annual Virginia Peninsula-General Douglas MacArthur Chapter's Professional Development Forum (PDF) will be held on 21 June, 2012. The theme of this year's event is The Army of 2020. The forum will be held at the Kingsmill Resort on Thursday, 21 June. General Robert Cone, Commanding General, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, will deliver the keynote address at 8:00 AM followed by two morning professional development panels on 21st Century Training and Network Integration Evaluation and the Agile Process. The chapter-hosted luncheon will be followed by a panel in the afternoon on Army 2020 and Modernization.
Our dinner and awards program is at 7:00 PM with the Honorable Robert F. McDonnel, Governor of Virginia, as our invited guest speaker. Our Professional Development Forum concludes with the 4th Annual Fred Nunes Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, 23 June, at The Pines Golf Course on Fort Eustis. The golf tournament will include lunch and award presentations. We hope that you can join us for our annual PDF as a sponsor and/or participant.
